Security Trial at Changi Airport Terminal 3
Students from Temasek Polytechnic were invited to participate in the security trial at Changi Airport's Terminal 3. The trial is part of a series of trials to test T3's operational readiness.
Here you see the students queuing up to check in at the Departure level.
Now the students are having their passport checked.
The students were given test bags by CAAS. Some of them had prohibited items hidden in them.
A security personnel doing a check on one student.
Lots of water bottles were confiscated.
The students were taking a rest while waiting for their friends to clear security checks. You can see the tutor standing. He's talking about the Arsenal match against Man U this week.
Space Invaders?
Students are now proceeding to "board" the plane.
The trial has ended and lunch is served.

A State of Euphoria
I've been having this state of euphoria every since I came back from New York. It has been almost two months and it hasn't subsided. There's this constant thought of "Something great is going to happen" appearing in my mind.
According to a Businessweek podcast, Why You Should Vacation, effects from holidays normally last up to two weeks after the holiday.
Something great is going to happen. I can feel it.

G9 Streets of Tokyo
Two web pages with some great photos to share today. Both were shot by Canon G9s. Cool. Click on the photos to go to their web pages.
This is a 'secret' page with photos shot on the streets of Tokyo. Has a very good nitty gritty feel.
And this is from a Rush concert. I have no idea what band that is but the photos are great.

So What If She's Found Dead In Her Bedroom
I can't for once see the selling point of this article.
Did her occupation play a role in her death? Would this article be published if the accountant was 45 years old? Or was a guy? If a 25 year old school teacher was found dead tomorrow would it make the news? Was premature death the selling point?
Color Management
Ever wonder how come when you're in Lightroom or Photoshop, your photos look great. When you export or save as a jpeg for web publishing, it looks different?
Learn the theory behind that in this cool geeky website.
If you're a photographer, you might want to check out cambridgeincolour.com. Equally geeky and intense.

Pierced
Yesterday on the train, I was awoken by a lady who spoke a bit too loudly on her handphone. It was also piercing, like having a spear through one ear and out of the next.
Here's a snippet of the conversation, or whatever I can recall:
"Silver Spoon! Remember the place we had chicken that day?! The chicken! Remember the chicken? I don't want to wait for you at the toilet! It's very hot down there! Ok! You just wait for me at Woodlands MRT! You better come down! You're already late! Silver Spoon! Call me at 5.30pm regardless of whether you reach there or not! Call me!"
Now what do I do with all these useless information?
